Seth's friend Kelly had his birthday party at an indoor race track this week. We had wanted to go there for a long time, but just never made it out there, so it was fun to be able to race against 7 of his friends. The huge helmets were so funny on the skinny boys, almost like bobble heads :) I prepared Seth that this was just for fun and that it didn't matter if he got first place and not to get worked up over it. Fortunately, or unfortunately,
he came in second the first race and first place the second race!! ( he even had a major crash the second race because his hair net slipped over his face and he couldn't see a thing and smashed into the wall. After stopping the cars electronically Seth recovered and sped off to victory. So much for that lesson.
