We love Disneyland

Disneyland and dogs, that's what our blog has become. We were so lucky to have my parents come visit for a whole week. We all went to Disneyland the friday before Memorial Day and got there before it opened and didn't leave until after the fireworks. By the time we left I think were were all tired and a few of us were grouchy :) But the rest of the day was a blast! We got in most of the great rides and even got Paige to go on Tower of Terror for the first time! I had only been on it once years ago, so it was almost like riding for the first time again. We even took Flat Stanly from Taylor, my sister Kendra's son, on it with us :) We love Disneyland!

No secret we love the beach, and we had a lot of fun with Kendra's family at the beach when they were here. Her kids love it too. Wish they could have come when the air and water are warmer! We snuck Sophie onto the beach and she loved it too!

Whale Watching

This is going way back, but I got behind and now I am trying to play catch up. I am just going through my pictures and posting things we have done and taken pictures of. A very fun outing we had at the end of March was hiking at Point Dume in Malibu. We were so lucky to see whales migrating North. It was amazing, and we actually got to see it on 2 different days. We took Sophie along of course and she loved playing in the sand. Have I mentioned that I could spend all day every day at the beach?

We had a really fun time in Utah for Spring Break. My sister Carrie takes great pictures and we had a beautiful day at Thanksgiving Point gardens before the snow hit. This equals some cute pictures of the kids. Thanks Carrie! and don't forget about Sophie!

Benefits of Passover

I found out today that the benefits of living in a largely Jewish area are that the kids get no homework over Passover! That means none tonight or tomorrow! Yay! that makes packing and getting organized for spring break even easier. Random thoughts by Gwen Hardy.

Cheese!

As you know Seth lost his front top tooth less than 2 weeks ago. His bottom front tooth has been loose, but not ready to fall out for a week or two. Yesterday after school he was eating a cinnamon roll with a fork and started crying. As he turned around a small amount of blood was coming from his bottom teeth. So I thought that should loosen it up quickly. Matt gave him a cold rag and to his surprise found his tooth sitting in his mouth, not attached. So now he has this cute checker board grin!

We had such a fun time with the Davis Family at Disneyland. Paige and Lauren tried California Screamin for the first time and loved it. Paige even told me she wanted to go on Tower of Terror next time!! We had a great time!
