Before and After x2

"The Mop"
Nacho CHEESE smile
Nice timer shots :)
Seth and I both got our hair cut in the last few days. Seth's hair was longer than it's ever been, so when I took him in it was hard to just have her buzz it off. I have wanted him to get a cute little (big) boy hair cut, but the buzz is so easy. I asked the lady if there was any hope of a different style and this is what she did. I think it looks cute as long as he has the gel to make it spikey. Then I went in to get some long side bangs and she cut it really good, I thought. Here we go again, how long can I keep this up. I kept up the straightening for 2 weeks last time, we'll see.

New Scanner

Paige's first week in Philly 1999
Hot and Humid
Baby Paige 2/98

I got to sit down and try out my new scanner today. I love it! I got a little overwhelmed when I opened up my photo drawer and realized how much work I have ahead of me. I am going to start small and organize first. There's that word again! I put pictures in books a few years ago and Paige loved looking at them today. I think I am going to continue with that. I don't want to give up yet, but I think my official scrapbooking days are over. (in reality they ended 6 or 7 years ago) but I still have all the stuff. It will still be useful for crafts and the like. My new project, after organizing the photos, will be online scrapbooks. Click and drag and the book comes in the mail. Much easier. Here are some of the negatives I scanned today.

Ark Wanted

Does anyone have an arc for sale, or did someone get the commandment to build one in S. Cal. It has been raining since Tuesday, and at times quite hard. It was sunny for half the day today, just enough to dry up the streets, but it is pouring as I'm typing. And it's supposed to get worse throughout the night. We aren't in Seattle, no offense! The bummer is it is going to continue off and on through Thursday. This is the longest stretch of rain since I have lived here. So please let me know if you are boarding the arc, and can we come?

The Cheese (4 yrs and counting)

"6"
"5"
"4"
"3"

Seth had his 6th birthday party last Saturday at Chuck E. Cheese. As you can see we have been there 4 years in a row. But for me it's easy, you show up, bring some cupcakes and the kids get to play and eat pizza. Next year I would like to branch out and try something new. He had fun, but was excited his dad was there the whole time and didn't play with anyone else. We got home and opened and played with all the presents. But by 7pm he had a massive headache and fever. Half his class was out on Friday because of sickness. I was just glad we got through the party before it hit him. Luckily he just got the fever and not the throwing up or strep throat that some of the others had. Things should calm down here since the holidays and birthdays have finally wrapped up.

More Me!!!

I'm blaming my bad eating habits on my parents :)
I had a nice birthday. I bought myself some new shoes, not flip flops, I decided I needed some with a closed toe and heel. Then met a friend for breakfast and an early movie, 27 dresses, before Seth got out of School. The rest of the day was normal, but we ended with BJ's and another pizookie. Way too much food. I got a scanner that will turn slides and negatives into jpeg pics. I am so excited to get my older pictures onto the computer. I didn't get a digital camera until just after Seth was born, so I have some work ahead of me. My dad gave me the idea because he is scanning all of his slides from way back when. That's how I got the baby pictures of me. Very cool. I love technology. I also got this cool hat and T-shirt. They know me too well. All in all a good day. Happy Birthday to me!

It's all about me!!

My birthday! Cute mom!
Me and My Jenny Doll
Something major is happening this Friday!! I know you have all been busy shopping and mailing things in anticipation! (jk:) If everyone didn't already know how old I am going to be, I might try and lie, but I will be 35!! This is a little disturbing because I don't feel it, although I am starting to look it. It is the number that is no longer closer to 30, but is closer, barely, to 40. WHAT! I feel like maybe it's time to be organized (Matt wishes), get up and actually get ready before I take the kids to school (yeah right), and maybe keep up a cute hairdo and put on a full face of makeup, both on the same day! All of that comes down to being organized. Something to work on in my mid to late 30's! Happy soon to be birthday to me, which will be celebrated, once again, by having Seth's Chuck E. Cheese party on Saturday!
